My Website Got Hacked

Ahhh for the second time in a year my website got hacked! It is not really that back because i was only like 10% done with it and I had not worked on in for months. So just a warning I was hacked with a script called PHPJackal. So for any other web developers out there, watch out for this.

I'm sorry to hear that. What did they do? I thought with PHPJackal the person actually needs to upload the file to your website. Did you have a file upload script anywhere on the site?

They put the script in their file manager and they change some stuff in the script and it allows them to go into other peoples file manager on the same host. Here is a video of how they do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwdVWJlHfNk
