I was quite busy last night.. Let me try to summarize all the changes..

First of all, do a hard refresh to clear your cache, so many files were updated you might not be seeing the latest version. (Push CTRL + F5)

Okay. So first of all, the header is now 90px instead of its original 120px. This just something I'm trying out. Your opinions on anything new and old will be appreciated and listened to.

So because the header is smaller, I've taken the search and turned it into its own tab. I've also made the shouts much smaller so they can stretch across the page if they are longer.

I spent hours going through the CSS to make everything look cleaner and more compact. All of the panels got a design rewrite, and you can hopefully see they all take up a lot less space than they used to. You'll notice the Chat Panel has color stripes, and no longer displays the user as <Username>. The stripes are also located on the larger chat page http://akvoice.com/chat

I've redesigned the view article page a bit. It's a more simplified look, keeping the entire article and title white, except the blue toolbar when you're the author of the article.

Instead of having a chart icon next to the article icon, I created a little combined icon of an article with a poll inside of it. This also works for unread items.

I fixed the RSS feature..

I fixed Bug [2] (thanks Akhoya), which had the site displaying a blank page when you viewed a category with no articles in it

NOW, here's a big one you might have noticed. I've been thinking that the categories feature has needed some more to it for quite some time, so I bring you the CATEGORY FILTER! Click the icon on the "home" page to bring up a dialog that allows you to check/uncheck which categories you would like to view. So let's say if a user doesn't want to read about drugs, they can simply turn it off, and it won't appear in the content list. There could be some bugs in the system, I wrote it pretty fast, but it's fairly foolproof. Enjoy!
