Weed. Roots, cells, flowers, soil.
Pot, Potted or hydroponics. El sol.
Green, veined, Growing, exchanging (Photosynthesis).
Buds forming, folded, glistening, powerful.
Herb manicured, meticulously, often medicinally.
Fire + Oxygen, Petroleum Ignition.
Stank, often intricately filtrated, though still.
Smoke.
Dank, in your lungs, condensing, coating, and lathering your alveoli. Like fields of -
Grass getting coated by a pesticide spraying biplane.
THC - enamored, stuttering, stoned, staring. Lethargic, listless, tired, but content. Less useful than a ball of
Hemp.
I ask all of you to take some time this 420 to think about marijuana and the positive ways in which it has affected your lives and all of the experiences it has brought to you. Socially, recreationally, medicinally, mentally, economically, however. Have you ever met a friend through this widely shared interest? Explored a cool new place looking for somewhere to smoke? Gotten to know someone through crazy stoned adventures? Relieved a headache with a cool, refreshing bong rip? Enjoyed some otherwise awful movie because of your baked perspective? Eaten at a time when you had no appetite, thanks to the munchies? Weed is a lot of things to a lot of people, and a lot of those things are great. To anyone who does not smoke (and is legally able to), please give it a chance. Just ask anyone you know who smokes. Today, they will likely be inclined to share with you. To those who do, get incredibly high today and appreciate it. It's easy to take for granted when you're smoking everyday, but weed really is pretty special. 420 is there to remind us of that fact and to celebrate it with friends.
