Scene=/=Emo

Alaska and Ketchikan

Well no one has really posted a new article so I think I will. I find this to be a debate so I know a few of you will have opinions and therefore we shall get some action up in this place.

So I read somewhere that 'scene' =/= 'emo'
Scene is the style/fashion
Emo is the state of being moody [lacking a better word]

What do you guys think? If someone dressed up in 'emo/scene'-fashion but acted as if their world was full of unicorns puking rainbows, would you accuse them of being a poser/fake? What do you define as a poser/fake and how do you react towards them? In order to wear 'scene' fashion, do you HAAVE to be emo?

I find that I just dress how I like and ignore if someone thinks its cute to Label me out of boredom or sheer lack of trying to be all Cool around their friends. Pretty much its a whatever to me. But what about you all?

Scene is dead because Scene kids was just another word for myspace whores, but now Myspace is dead and it took Scene down with it.
Emo... was originally a music genre and I'm not so sure what happened there.
And someone who is genuinely depressed is "emo" rather than actually, y'know, suffering from a psychiatric disorder?

Emo and scene are the same thing, ie, kids with nothing to bitch about who think that bitching about things anyway makes them cool within their inane subculture.
I'd say they are both a waste of Oxygen and are the kind of kids that ate paint chips when they were little.
I'd call either of them fake, for the sheer reason of them trying too hard.
This whole article seems stupid to me. Who the fuck cares?

It is to start conversation. If you are not pleased with it ignore it. Simple as that
