They both went to quite a few immediate extremes. They were practically finishing each other's sentences by the end. I didn't particularly like either candidate, but Samuels came off as a bit more flexible in his ideals.
That sounds complicated for one person to maintain. It's an interesting idea, though. I don't think any regions interact in quite the same way that southeast Alaska does--it is like a city in itself. I don't know if other regions would have a bulk of "region specific" news that wouldn't be of interest to the rest of the state.
It would be helpful to have liasons in those other cities or regions.
All three file types worked fine on firefox (using mac osx 10.6.2). Moving gifs, even the full size, only display the first frame, but I personally feel that is for the best. I really like the cropping system.
